Discover the Best Books

FOLLOW CURATED RECOMMENDATIONS

Welcome to my site Gaia Books, a space dedicated to everything bookish, the good, the bad and the rare in the world of literature, fiction, non-fiction and literary translation. In order to become an avid reader and develop a good understanding as a literary critic, one needs to become a gourmand of books, read between the lines and occasionally taste bad writing.

During  a daily routine fraught with constraints, when rushing hour is no longer at peak times but all day, the best antidote is a book to enwrap our mind with the most exquisite tales in English, Spanish, French or German; from distant lands set in Europe, Asia or America; at the park, on the train or in bed. What's important is to diversify our reading. And on this platform you will be able to quench your thirst for a global life surrounded by international voices whispering in your ear from the comfort of your chair.

Hello!

My name is Mónica Quinn, and I am a polyglot committed to reading. Would you agree it's the best antidote against ageing? Books, it seems, not only keep a few existential wrinkles at bay, but also teach us about the inner workings of the human puzzle as well as the wonders of our world. You may have noticed, to your surprise, or your dismay, that there's an entire section devoted to human sexuality—in all its glory. Yes, that's right,  I'm a depraved woman.

And I am a firm believer that only free, passionate, curious readers can ardently make love to books.

Are you one of them?
